As wonderful as our trip over was, our trip home was almost better. The flight from Brussels was near perfect, customs and passport check wasn't too bad, but then our last flight was delayed and finally landed in Shreveport sans my bag. That meant that while all the other people from our flight (whose luggage arrived with them) went home, we sat in the "you lost my luggage line" for an hour.
Our travel day ended almost exactly 24 hours after it began. So, we're regrouping and recouping today.
We had a really amazing trip- I'm very sad it's over. Details and pictures to follow!
Update: my bag arrived at my doorstep a little before one yesterday...thank you, Delta!

ReplyDeleteWow...24 hours with an almost 11 month old. You guys are amazing!! Glad it all went well and you got your bag! Cudos to Mae Mae and Pop for being there for you. We are so anxious for pics and even more anxious to see you you all face to face.
