It was quite literally a jungle out there. The flower bed the previous owner of the house planted along with the vines from the neighbor's woods had grown together to create this Little Shop of Horrors-style profusion of vegetation encroaching on the back yard. By this summer, it had practically engulfed the birdbath and was close to swallowing up the bench. Something had to be done. Work-in-progress:
